About This Opportunity
We invite a Cloud Data Platform Engineer to join our team and help deploy, monitor, and optimize the cloud platforms that power our data science and ML workloads. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers to ensure analytics systems run securely, efficiently, and at scale. You'll use your expertise to define and implement reusable cloud and data platform solutions that streamline operations across the organization.
🧩 Key responsibilities and your contribution
- Phase 1 (Project-Based): Own a single, high-impact AI automation project from scope to shipment
- End-to-End Ownership: Research stakeholder needs, propose the architecture, and execute the build
- Rapid Prototyping: Build functional "V1s" quickly for feedback from our medical advisors and CTO
- Communication: Proactively push updates. We don't want to chase you for status; we want you to tell us what's next
- Seniority & Autonomy: Ability to take a vague problem, draft a design document, define your own milestones, and ship a feature with minimal supervision
- AI-Native Workflow: Deep proficiency in using AI to write, debug, and architect code. You should be faster than a traditional dev because you know how to "steer" the AI
- Product-Minded: You care about why we are building a feature and how it impacts a doctor or a patient
- Tech Stack: We primarily use TypeScript, but we value "the smartest person in the room" over specific language experience. If you are a Java or Python expert who can pivot fast, we want to talk
- Time Zone Sync: Must be available for rapid iteration and meetings during US Business Hours (to solve our current bottleneck with overseas teams)
