I’m currently supporting a leading European space technology company in the search for an Experienced Systems Engineer to architect next-generation nanosatellite and microsatellite systems.

This is a senior, high-impact role where you will take ownership of spacecraft system architecture from early mission definition through integration, verification, and delivery.

🔎 The Role:

• Lead end-to-end system architecture for nanosatellite and microsatellite missions
• Translate mission and customer requirements into technical system solutions
• Drive system budgets (mass, power, data, thermal, etc.)
• Support AIT, verification and validation activities
• Work cross-functionally with avionics, software, mechanical, RF and propulsion teams
• Interface with customers and external stakeholders

🎯 Ideal Background:

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Space/Aerospace, Electronics, Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years experience working on complex technical systems
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary system integration (e.g., electronics, software, mechanical, RF, power, embedded systems, etc.)
• Exposure to full product lifecycle development - from concept and design through testing and delivery
• Comfortable working across technical teams and engaging with internal or external stakeholders
