Emagine is seeking an experienced AWS Senior Cloud Engineer to join a strategic initiative in Lisbon, working closely with the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE). This role is critical in defining, implementing, and enforcing best practices for AWS cloud operations, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-level cloud initiatives, providing architectural guidance, driving Infrastructure as Code adoption, and leading incident resolution efforts in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Partner with the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) to establish and enforce operational best practices across AWS environments.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident management for critical AWS services.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and operational standards.
• Monitor, optimize, and tune AWS environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical support to new cloud projects.

You bring:

• Strong experience working as a Senior Cloud Engineer in AWS environments.
• Deep expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD implementation and automation.
• Solid background in monitoring, observability, and performance optimization in AWS.
• Proven experience leading incident resolution and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon (3 days onsite per week).
