What You Will Do

As a Mobile App Developer, you will:

• Collaborate with product owners, mobile developers, UX designers, and meteorologists to develop and maintain high-quality weather and travel apps.
• Contribute to UX/UI improvements and provide valuable input on design and user experience.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end development.
• Monitor app performance and continuously optimize for better user experience.
• Engage in technical discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting documentation.
• Develop and maintain shared business logic for iOS and Android using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

You will work in Infoplaza's Development division with developers of different disciplines and different nationalities. The department is divided into a Weather Technology team and 3 Product Development Squads: Network for our consumer activities, Business for our business customers and Mobility for our mobility solutions. Each squad has dedicated mobile developers, you’ll have the opportunity to explore different teams if you wish—allowing you to work on diverse apps related to weather and travel!

What you need to bring

• 3+ years of experience with Android development (Kotlin/Java).
• Familiarity with Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc) and Jetpack Compose
• It is an advantage, not a must, if you also have some knowledge of iOS (Swift) and/or KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform)
• Knowledge of the MVVM architectural pattern and appreciation of clean architecture.
• Familiarity with modularization and scalable app architectures
• Experience with crash and analytics tools such as Firebase.
• Hands-on experience with integrating and optimizing ads in apps.
• Strong understanding of unit testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye on delivering the best quality.
• Currently living in The Netherlands with a valid work permit is a must!

This is provided from Infoplaza Business. Here we help make our customers' decision-making process more efficient during weather sensitive operations.

Our head office is located in Houten (UT) and we also have a smaller office in Amsterdam.
