PROJECT
Be part of a team developing a mission-critical application that keeps the aviation industry running smoothly. This innovative platform supports airlines in managing their crew assignments, optimizing schedules, and ensuring seamless operations, even during disruptions like adverse weather, airport closures, or last-minute staff changes.
Key features include real-time crew scheduling, training management,t and self-service tools that empower crew members to confirm flights, update schedules, and handle standby assignments. The application also supports advanced training and competency tracking, ensuring the highest standards for aviation professionals.
YOU WILL
- Design, develop, test, and debug highly complex software solutions and enhancements.
- Work on both new features and maintenance of existing systems
- Analyze and resolve issues in development and production environments
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and documentation
- Ensure high code quality and compliance with coding standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including iteration planning and demo sessions
- Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and other developers
- Contribute to the long-term technical vision of the product
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE and strong programming skills
- Expertise in JMS technologies
- Understanding of TDD practices and hands-on experience with JUnit/unit testing
- Experience with Tomcat or other application containers
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- High level of commitment, ownership, and quality-oriented mindset
- Experience with Java 11 or 17, Spring Framework, and Hibernate
- Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL
- Familiarity with AWS
- Very good interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in Agile Development
