pladis is looking for R&D Engineer / Specialist for our R&D Department for pladis TURCA Ülker Bisküvi Gebze factory.

What will be your key deliverables?

• Studying formulation of new and existing products to develop affordable, profitable, healthy, safe and delicious products,
• Developing products bringing target financials, chooses correct ingredients at the correct price, at the targeted quality and safety,
• Checks group specifications and apply the best practices and research continuously,
• Identification and research of new product needs in the market,
• Management of R&D Project processes,
• Develop products in line with regulations & global recommendations,
• Determination of process and raw material standards of new products,
• Ensuring the cost and quality optimization of manufactured products,
• Following up innovations and improvements in industry and making required analysis to support R&D activities.

What do you need for this role?

• BS/MS degree in Food Engineering program,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Have 2-5 years of experience in R&D department, preferably in food companies (bakery products, sauce and creams) is preferred,
• Good knowledge of MS office programs, preferably good knowledge of SAP,
• Understanding needs of the market & customer,
• A profile with high business drive and sense of ownership for the business,
• A clear strategic mindset that turns consumer understanding and market research findings into short or long-term strategy and actions,
• Good project management skills to deliver projects on time and at good quality,
• Good Interpersonal skills.
