POSITION SUMMARY

Spinneys, the UAE’s leading premium food retailer, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to support the design and development of intuitive digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The role requires a collaborative team player with a strong user-focused mindset who can translate business and user requirements into effective, practical design solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design intuitive and engaging digital experiences for web and mobile applications that enhance how users interact with Spinneys’ digital and ecommerce platforms.
• Translate business and stakeholder requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver practical, user-centered design solutions.
• Ensure consistent design standards, usability, and branding across all digital products and platforms.
• Optimise designs to ensure responsive performance and usability across devices and screen sizes.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure design concepts are accurately implemented in final products.
• Apply strong UX writing and copywriting principles to craft clear, concise, and user-friendly interface content that enhances usability and supports the overall product experience.
• Participate in QA and UAT testing to verify that implemented features align with approved designs, design standards, and overall application consistency.
• Conduct usability reviews and support testing activities to identify opportunities for improving user experience and interface efficiency.
• Evaluate and enhance existing digital interfaces to improve usability, performance, and user engagement.
• Leverage data-driven UX tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity, UXCam, and analytics platforms) to analyse user behavior and inform design improvements and decisions.
• Stay informed on emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to support the continuous evolution of Spinneys’ digital platforms.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with demonstrated experience designing for both mobile and web applications.
• Proven experience translating business and stakeholder requirements into effective UX/UI wireframes, prototypes, and final interface designs.
• A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects for web and mobile applications is required.
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
