Job Description
Accountable to review & implement all necessary and required security controls to protect Etisalat’s infrastructure services after due review of design documentation following Etisalat’s security practices and guidelines. These are a list of the services in scope: 4G, 3G, MPLS, Internet, Cloud, Data Centers and IPTV. The SE additionally must also support On-Call Escalations and routine Roster for change Management Function. The SE will be required to engage with multiple stakeholders and services owners to achieve these daily tasks. (SE) Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions where applicable.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualification: BS (Computers Science) or BS/BE (Engineering)
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ Experience related to Network Security

Responsibilities
- Administration, Configurations, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Network Security related issues.
- Management & Administration of Security devices including Arbor DDOS, Peakflow, TMS and AED.
- Understanding of attacking behavior and different techniques used for DDOS attacks.
- Understanding of networking and firewalls.
- Understanding of Access Control lists and Policy filters on High End Cisco Routers & Switches.
- Hands on and good experience analyzing packet capture to understand attack behavior and apply required counter measure
- Analyze network architecture and strategies for planning and coordinating the infrastructure expansion and upgrades.
- Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints
- Coordinate with security planning for all new projects and ensuring the best security practices and strategies are followed.
- Troubleshoot & Provide Level 2/3 support in order to diagnose all problems that may cause Service Degradation or Interruption in the Network Security Domain.
- Coordination with TAC regarding Hardware, Software & Network Problems and RMA for faulty equipment.
- Provide call out support on all L2/L3 escalations 24*7.
Minimum Qualification: BS (Computers Science) or BS/BE (Engineering)
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ Experience related to Network Security
- Must have in-depth technical knowledge of Security devices, infrastructure networks, Internet, Cloud, Data Centers and IPTV.
- Preferably worked in Telecom environment
- Design and hands-on experience of different information security products.
- Design and hands-on experience in identifying and implementing security controls for telecom, cloud ad IT services.
- Good documentation and presentation skills.
- Security certifications: CCNP (Security), JNCIP (Security), NSE4, etc.
- Experience of working in ITIL based operations Environment including but not limited to Change Management, Incident Management & Problem Management.
