We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Java Developer for Security to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

Must-Have Skills / Qualifications

• 1–3 years of enterprise software development experience in Java, with strong API knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, CodeQL, IBM AppScan, and HP Fortify Static Code Analysis
• Solid understanding of OWASP security vulnerabilities and practical experience addressing them
• Experience implementing security authentication in applications
• Ability to provide guidance and support to QA teams
• Experience using ServiceNow or JIRA for defect tracking and test case management
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, XML, XSL, UML, and ClearCase is a plus
• Experience with development and testing tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code, Postman, ANT, and Maven
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting is required
• Additional skills in security remediation and Unix administration, including patching infrastructure issues, are preferred

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the banking industry
• Understanding of enterprise security vulnerabilities
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues through research and hands-on experimentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Willingness to step outside comfort zones and take on new challenges

Education

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline

Salary Range: 60K+
