Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute both qualitative (e.g., interviews, contextual enquiries) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, analytics) research studies, translating findings into personas, journey maps, and actionable design recommendations.
- Develop storyboards, diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity visual mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design strategies and interaction behaviours.
- Recommend design decisions that balance user desirability, business viability, and technical feasibility.
- Design the overall system structure and behaviour, including information architecture, information flows, and workflows.
- Evaluate and refine products through research and user testing to ensure solutions meet user needs and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure design solutions align with functional requirements.
- Create and deliver interactive multimedia content to support communication and engagement initiatives (e.g., infographics, eDMs, event collaterals, and videos that enhance awareness and strengthen branding/reputation).
What We Are Looking For
- Strong skills in research, design, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, UAT, and product management.
- Proficiency in Figma and other UX/UI design tools. Experience with vibe-coding or vibe-prototyping (leveraging GenAI for rapid, iterative low-fidelity prototyping) will be an added advantage.
- Formal training in a design-related discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field; equivalent practical experience in methodologies such as Agile (Scrum), Design Thinking, or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is also valued.
- Familiarity with and regular use of Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly in applying them within work projects, is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
- A proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated individual with a strong drive to innovate and deliver business outcomes.
- A strong team player with excellent organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, especially when navigating complex situations
