We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Designer / Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation to support scalable and secure cloud-native environments.

This role involves architecting and deploying OpenShift clusters on Microsoft Azure, enabling development teams to build, deploy, and manage applications efficiently in a modern Kubernetes-based ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Architecture & Design

• Design and implement enterprise container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift.
• Architect scalable and resilient container solutions based on Kubernetes.
• Define best practices for multi-cluster and hybrid cloud OpenShift environments.
• Optimize platform performance, reliability, and scalability.

Cloud Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage OpenShift clusters on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Red Hat OpenShift or self-managed clusters.
• Design infrastructure components including networking, storage, and security within Azure.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to integrate OpenShift with enterprise cloud services.

DevOps & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, and Argo CD.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Enable GitOps practices and automated deployment strategies.

Security & Compliance

• Implement container security best practices including image scanning and runtime protection.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security frameworks and policies.
• Integrate security controls into the CI/CD and container lifecycle.

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and application metrics.
• Support troubleshooting and performance tuning across the platform.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Create detailed architecture documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support application onboarding.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to platform engineers.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise

• 8+ years of experience in container platform design and implementation.
• Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift (v4.x architecture and components).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration principles.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Hands-on experience deploying OpenShift on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift or self-managed clusters.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, storage, and security services.

DevOps & Automation

• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Tekton, and Argo CD.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.

Security & Compliance

• Knowledge of container security best practices.
• Experience with image scanning, policy enforcement, and compliance standards.
