Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a project focused on GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) audit readiness.
You will collaborate with the GRC team in Toronto and the security team in Munich, leveraging existing implementation patterns to accelerate the development of automation tools and integrations. The goal is to ensure that the GRC team can take full ownership of these solutions over time.
Responsibilities
- Enable and configure AWS services (AWS Config, AWS Audit Manager, AWS Security Hub) for accounts requiring PCI and SOC1/2 compliance.
- Develop Python automation to integrate non-compliance findings into Jira for remediation tracking.
- Build automation for Okta Identity Governance to manage compliance controls.
- Design and implement solutions for non-AWS/Okta controls, collecting and scanning evidence across systems like Jira and other SaaS platforms.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing security patterns.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the GRC team to ensure long-term sustainability of solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong Python development experience
- GitHub and GitHub Actions expertise
- General AWS knowledge
- Jira experience
