Description
We looking for a software engineer who has the right composition of knowledge, experience, team spirit, and drive, to join a dynamic team that develops leading-edge test and measurement products. Top engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next-generation communication, consumer electronics, and computer products.
The responsibility includes design, develop, and support new features and performance enhancements to our products. A qualified candidate will have the skills to work through the complete software cycle using the existing software development process. Candidates with prior knowledge of data communications products, protocols and principles, test equipment, computer systems, electronic, general engineering practices, and computer programming principles are preferred.
Requirements
– 5+ years of hands-on software development in C/C++.
– Strong background in systems / low-level programming (memory management, multithreading, performance, debugging).
– Practical experience with PCIe and OCP NIC 3.0.
– Experience with Ethernet NICs and/or storage controllers.
– Experience developing applications, drivers or firmware in Linux, RTOS or bare-metal environments.
– Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and common development tools (Git, code review, CI/CD, unit testing, etc.).
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have skills:
– Understanding of PCIe architecture and related debugging tools (protocol analyzers, etc.).
– Experience with Linux kernel or Windows kernel (WDK) driver development, or embedded firmware for RTOS/bare-metal.
– Experience with networking and storage protocols: TCP/IP, RDMA, NVMe, SAS, SATA.
– Experience with Broadcom NIC / HBA / RAID controllers.
Job responsibilities
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for design, estimation and development of new features of an existing application, along with any required refactoring, and mentoring junior and middle level engineers.
