Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable SaaS products, with a focus on event-driven architectures and context-aware execution strategies
- Integrate new features by evolving and refactoring existing codebases to maintain a clean, extensible architecture
- Lead design reviews, promoting "clean code" and expressive patterns that make the intent of the software obvious to others
- Participate in the team's continuous improvement effort, by promoting and refining development standards and best practices
- Proven experience building complex applications in typed languages (TypeScript, Java, C#, or similar) and IoC frameworks, ideally TypeScript and NestJS (our core backend stack)
- Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, specifically design patterns (e.g., Hexagonal Architecture, or Domain-Driven Design) and programming paradigms
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical trade-offs, seek feedback early, and align with the team on the design before beginning implementation
- English fluency (French proficiency is a big plus)
- Hands-on DevOps experience in a Cloud-based environment (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure)
- Experience with Secure Software Development Life Cycle / DevSecOps
- Ability to implement advanced testing practices and drive adoption across the team
