Role Description
This full time role as HW Engineer, part of the HW Development Team, follows the full product development lifecycle, from the requirements analysis to the design, testing, validation, certification (driven by the applicable regulations) and volume production ramp-up phases.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to design requirements and technical specification starting from product requirements
- Schematics design and PCB layout of RF, analog and digital hardware for wireless communication systems based on testability and manufacturability criteria and DFMEA/MTBF driven
- Implement and optimize circuits such as LNAs, PAs, filters, mixers, PLLs, ADC/DAC interfaces, and front-end modules.
- Model and analyze analog signal chains, noise performance, impedance matching, and RF propagation.
- Define and execute validation test plan (functional, characterization, reliability, and pre-compliancy test plans)
- Volume production Test-Bench specification and design working with SW engineers.
- Support to the external labs for product certification
- Returned Material Analysis to identify the failure root cause and potential design/test improvements
Qualifications and experiences
- Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
- 5+ years of proven working experience in relevant engineering environment
- Hands-on experience with RF circuit design, modulation techniques, signal propagation and communication theory.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance testing.
- Experience with RF lab equipment and measurement techniques (power supply, oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, network analyser, signal generator…)
- Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium and/or similar CAE and CAD Tools
- Knowledge of firmware programming (C/C++/Python/…) as plus
- Proficient in English

- Ability to conjugate the product with the process and the solution perspective
