exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Network Administrator to join our team.

About The Role
You will be responsible
for managing and administering Council’s network
infrastructure and virtual servers, including acquisitions, upgrades,
operations and maintenance of the virtual environment, servers, SAN, firewalls,
routers, switches and other networking equipment and infrastructure. Love solving problems? You will be
troubleshooting network and connectivity issues. Working closely with the rest
of the team, you will be responsible for developing the processes to install,
configure and maintain and support the fleet of computers, software, and
peripherals in Council. You will perform system monitoring and analysis,
including network performance tuning and troubleshooting, and deploying
measures to enhance network speed, reliability, and availability. You will also
work closely with the Senior Cyber Security and Infrastructure Administrator to
undertake incident response, threat and vulnerability management, logging and
monitoring, technical assurance and compliance monitoring activities.
About You
The
Successful Candidate Will Have
- Knowledge of network security infrastructure including, but not limited to, wide area networks, firewalls, routers and switches.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse information, solve problems and make sound judgments with the appropriate security controls in place.
- Experience in computer and networking infrastructure, firewalls, operating systems, virtual technologies and cloud technologies.
- Well-rounded in-depth technical skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of cyber security governance risk and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
- Demonstrated record of achievement in Information Technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Ability to meet time project deadlines, manage constraints and competing deadlines.

Salary Range
Up to $119K per annum plus super dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable
candidate.
