As part of this expansion, we are looking for a Product Manager - Oncology to structure and drive the development of our first clinical product while shaping the Product function at Robeauté. This role sits at the core of our platform strategy: leading the biopsy application, contributing to drug delivery development, and building the operational backbone of Product Management in a highly technical and clinical environment.
You'll own the product end-to-end: from definition to market.
- Product Ownership - Brain Tumors Biopsy
- Lead product execution with engineering through clinical and market phases
- Align technical development with clinical intent and strategic positioning
- Safeguard the original clinical value through V&V and regulatory milestones
- Act as product reference in clinical and regulatory interactions
- Product Discovery - Oncological Data & Treatments
- Maintain state-of-the-art on neuro-oncology data & treatments
- Lead user discovery on oncological data (surgeons, oncologists, care teams)
- Co-define value proposition, pricing, and positioning with our CPO
- Co-define the product strategy on this vertical with our CPO
- Nurture the onco' treatments research with this work on onco' data
- Design Control & Lifecycle Traceability
- Define user needs, user inputs, system requirements
- Ensure full traceability (clinical problem → V&V → Regulatory Filing → Market)
- Drive usability and human factors
- Support preclinical, GLP, FIH, and regulatory submissions
- Design-Centric Product Leadership
- Co-define product architecture, workflows, and UX from day zero
- Own clinical workflow integrity (OR setup, usability, interaction logic)
- Align industrial design, UX, and system behavior with clinical value
- Market Access & Commercial Alignment
- Bridge R&D with regulatory and market access (US first, then EU)
- Analyze US & EU positioning, reimbursement, hospital economics
- Support Business Development as a Product Specialist
- Align development decisions with commercial and clinical reality
- AI-Driven Product Operations & Methodology
- Implement and scale AI-driven product workflows
- Co-define and establish Product culture and processes with our CPO
Required
- PhD/Eng. in biomedical engineering, robotics, neuroscience, oncology, or related field from a top-tier engineering/research institution
- Product Management experience in MedTech, Biotech, or combination devices
- Direct experience under design control (user needs → V&V → clinical)
- Strong technical background (engineering, robotics, biomedical, systems)
- Experience in neurosurgery, interventional, implantable, or robotic systems
- Exposure to US regulatory or market dynamics
- Fluent English, willing to travel to the US
- Early-stage or deep-tech experience
- Oncology or drug delivery background
- Experience working closely with industrial design / UX
- Strong AI literacy applied to product workflows
- Strong product mindset, able to connect clinical value, engineering constraints, and market ambition
- Comfortable in ambiguity and research-heavy environments
- Structured thinker with high execution intensity
- Design-sensitive, passionate about usability and UX in high-stakes medical contexts
- Able to move seamlessly between deep technical discussions and strategic conversations
- High ownership and accountability
