Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join our growing and dynamic team. This role requires a highly experienced developer with at least 5+ years of experience in back-end development. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working with tourism-related platforms or ticket sales systems. Since our team is international, a strong command of English is essential for effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using PHP and NodeJS.

Build and manage databases with MySQL/MariaDB using Eloquent ORM.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless integrations.

Utilize frameworks like Laravel and Express for efficient, clean, and scalable development.

Work with essential libraries such as Socket.IO, DataTables, and Bootstrap to enhance application performance.

Integrate and manage third-party services like AWS (for cloud infrastructure) and SendGrid (for email services).

Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between user-facing elements and server-side logic.

Use GIT for version control, managing branches, pull requests, and issue tracking to maintain a clean development workflow.

Develop and deploy applications using Docker, ensuring stable and consistent deployments across environments.

Participate in testing and validation of alpha, beta, and release candidate (RC) versions of applications.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers and driving best practices for clean, maintainable code.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer.

Advanced proficiency in PHP, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with frameworks such as Laravel and Express.

Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.

Proficiency with MySQL/MariaDB and experience using Eloquent ORM.

Familiarity with AWS (for hosting, storage, etc.) and SendGrid (for email automation).

Experience with libraries like Socket.IO, DataTables, and Bootstrap.

Proficiency with GIT version control, including branch management and pull requests.

Experience with Docker and Dockerfile development for containerized deployments.

Ability to handle alpha, beta, and release candidate (RC) versions for testing and production releases.

Experience in the tourism or ticketing industry is a strong plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote, international team.

Excellent communication skills in English to work effectively with team members from different countries.

Tools & Communication:

Familiarity with ClickUp for task and project management.

Experience with Slack for team communication and updates.
