Your Responsibilities:

• Together with your team, you develop innovative, cloud-based software solutions based on ABAP and the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• You work on the design and implementation of new features for applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) — both in the backend and using modern frontend technologies based on Fiori Elements.
• You implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure the quality, stability, and scalability of cloud-based SAP applications.
• You package and deploy software components within the SAP BTP environment and contribute to the automation of development and deployment processes.
• In close collaboration with product management and your colleagues, you drive new ideas forward and ensure a smooth development process.
• You analyze existing applications in a targeted manner, identify optimization potential, and independently implement sustainable solutions and corrections.

Here are the qualifications we’re looking for:

• You have been working in ABAP development for at least two years. Additional programming languages are an advantage.
• You have extensive knowledge of SAP development topics.
• Experience with SAP BTP, cloud-based development, and the RAP programming model are among your strengths.
• You have practical experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• You are interested in and capable of further developing technical tools and processes to automate manual tasks.
• Communication skills and very good knowledge of English — including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences — are among your strengths.
• You are able to work independently as well as in a team, and you are open to learning, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
• You like to work primarily from home (remotely), but are also willing to travel nationally and internationally for our events.
• You are a team player.
