Systems Project Manager – IT & Infrastructure – 12-month FTC

Our client, a leading organisation within the aviation and logistics sector, is hiring an experienced Systems Project Manager to lead the delivery of a range of IT and operational technology initiatives across their Irish operations.

This role will be responsible for delivering projects spanning IT infrastructure, SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, hardware deployments, and operational technology environments. It will suit a hands-on IT Project Manager who enjoys delivering technology solutions across complex operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and systems projects, including infrastructure upgrades, SaaS implementations, hardware rollouts, and operational technology initiatives

• Manage projects through the full lifecycle – planning, design, implementation, testing, and go-live

• Deliver infrastructure and systems improvements across networks, servers, devices, and enterprise platforms

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders

• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies, ensuring successful delivery

• Oversee deployment of enterprise systems, operational applications, and technology platforms supporting production, logistics, and retail operations

• Work with infrastructure and vendor teams to deliver hardware, software, and SaaS solutions across multiple sites

• Establish governance frameworks, reporting, and stakeholder communication for project delivery

• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and technology improvements across operational systems

• Ensure projects align with IT governance, security, and compliance standards

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering IT or systems projects in complex operational environments

• Strong background managing infrastructure, SaaS, hardware, or enterprise systems implementations

• Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Project management certification preferred (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Scrum)

• Experience in industries such as aviation, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain is advantageous
