As the MLRO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that SONECT complies with all relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations and requirements. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective AML/CTF policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and leading the company's efforts to prevent and detect financial crimes. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage AML/CTF policies and procedures. 
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and due diligence on clients and transactions. 
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in AML/CTF laws and regulations and ensure company-wide compliance. 
  • Investigate and report suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on AML/CTF compliance matters. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the effectiveness of AML/CTF measures. 
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to relevant regulatory authorities. 

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or a related field. 
  • Professional certification in AML/CTF (e.g., CAMS) is highly desirable. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • He/she shall be resident of Lithuania . 
  • In-depth knowledge of AML/CTF laws, regulations, and best practices. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
