Experis is currently recruiting on behalf of one of its clients based in Luxembourg:

Linux System Administrator (m/f/x)

Your responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux-based system infrastructures (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Deploy, automate, and manage systems and services using automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, Bash)
• Manage virtualization and containerized environments (VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ensure system availability, performance, capacity, and reliability in production environments
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes in line with ITIL processes
• Participate in infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and IT transformation projects
• Ensure system security, patching, backup integrity, and compliance standards
• Monitor systems using appropriate monitoring and logging tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Write, maintain, and improve technical documentation and operational procedures
• Collaborate with network, security, and DevOps teams to ensure service continuity
• Proactively recommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance system stability and performance

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• You have strong experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar)
• You have hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and configuration management tools
• You have good knowledge of virtualization, containers, and cloud environments
• You are familiar with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning tools
• You have a solid understanding of networking and system security principles
• You are autonomous, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
• You are motivated by technical challenges and continuous learning
• You are fluent in English and in French (mandatory)
