The position

As a Kotlin Developer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

A fast-growing tech scale-up is looking for a Java/Kotlin Developer to strengthen their development team. You will join a small but highly skilled IT department where you will have a direct impact on product development and technical decisions.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin
• Build and improve cloud-native applications on GCP
• Work closely with developers and the product team to deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to DevOps practices, containerization, and infrastructure improvements
• Participate in CI/CD processes and maintain high-quality development standards

What you bring to the position

• Strong experience with Java and Kotlin
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and CircleCI (from a user perspective)
• Fluent in English
• Willing to work 3–4 days per week, onsite at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk office

Nice to Have

• Interest or experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with Scala
• Frontend experience with Vue.js
