Network Administrator – Hybrid (Porto)

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge: Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP, MP‑BGP EVPN, Multicast, Cisco ACI, Cisco/Arista CLI
• Experience with large‑scale network architectures (thousands of devices)
• Knowledge of virtualised environments, especially NSX
• Experience with automation/programming (Ansible, Python)
• Fluent English
• Experience as a network administrator and ability to share knowledge
• Ability to analyse technical environments and implement improvements
• Experience in high‑constraint environments (dealing rooms, remote banking, electronic banking, call centers)

Main Responsibilities

• Network supervision and rapid incident handling
• Routine network configuration (VLANs, config updates, adding switches to fabrics)
• Support systems/applications teams in deploying infrastructures
• Deploy switches for server connectivity
• Contribute to automation processes
• Participate in standby, on‑call, night/weekend interventions
