Preventai has developed the Antrino platform – a technology that makes every camera intelligent.

Instead of cameras just recording video in the background, they can now perform tasks in real-time: detecting thefts, identifying security risks, analyzing flows in stores and industries, and enabling organizations to act immediately when something happens. Video goes from being something reviewed in retrospect to becoming active, real-time decision support.

This means that millions of existing cameras, which previously only functioned as passive sensors, can suddenly start working actively for businesses – from retail and logistics to security companies and public environments.

Everything is built on a foundation of Privacy by Design, where data protection and GDPR compliance are central parts of the architecture. The goal is to make advanced video analysis both powerful, scalable, and responsible in how data is handled.

Purpose and Goal

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer who wants to be part of our journey. In this role, you will work on the core intelligence layer of our platform, developing and improving the models and systems that analyze video streams and generate real-time insights.

Today, parts of our vision pipeline are rapidly evolving as the platform scales. As we grow, you will play a central role in designing, training, and optimizing computer vision models. You will be central to our rapid R&D in Out Of Distribution Detection, Logit-based confidence thresholding in transformer-related architectures, and JEPA-based architectures.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

• Designing, developing, and improving computer vision models and pipelines for analyzing video streams in real time
• Training, evaluating, and optimizing models for tasks such as uniview action recognition, video classification and Video Language Model 
• Improving model accuracy, robustness, and latency across diverse real-world environments
• Building and maintaining data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and continuous improvement
• Optimizing models for high-performance inference, including GPU acceleration and real-time deployment
• Collaborating closely with software, platform, and DevOps engineers to deploy and scale vision systems in production
• Reducing false positives and improving reliability of detection systems through model tuning and evaluation
• Experimenting with and integrating state-of-the-art computer vision and video understanding methods that are state of the art. 
• Monitoring model performance in production and continuously iterating to improve real-world results
• Contributing to research discussions, experimentation, and technical direction of the computer vision stack
• Supporting the development of a scalable AI infrastructure capable of processing thousands of live video streams globally

Who are we looking for?

• Strong experience as a Computer Vision Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role, preferably working with production-grade vision systems
• Solid experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience building and deploying models for tasks such as object detection, tracking, segmentation, or activity recognition
• Strong understanding of computer vision fundamentals, video processing, and model evaluation
• Constantly exploring new paper releases worthy of investigation. 
• Familiarity with real-time inference systems and optimizing models for low latency and high throughput
• Experience working with GPU-accelerated workloads and performance optimization
• Experience integrating machine learning systems into production environments and scalable pipelines
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability challenges, and high-throughput data processing is a strong advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build robust, reliable AI systems
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; Swedish is a plus
