How will you make an impact in this role?
We are looking for an analytical, structured, and curious individual early in their career to join the Nordic Consumer Acquisition team. In this role, you will own core analytical processes that support how we plan, evaluate, and optimize our acquisition investments across the Nordic markets, with outputs that inform both local and broader stakeholder groups.
You will play a key role in ensuring that decision‑makers have clear, dependable insights to guide where and how we invest our marketing budget. The role is rooted in established processes and data structures, with a strong focus on maintaining quality, consistency, and learning over time.
In the first 6–12 months, success in this role is defined by producing accurate, reliable analysis, building strong understanding of our data and processes, and becoming a trusted source of insight for the team.
As you grow in the role, you will be supported in broadening your analytical exposure, gradually taking on more complex questions and working with a wider range of stakeholders.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with data, values structure, and takes pride in producing careful, well‑reasoned analysis that others can rely on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain monthly performance reporting, taking ownership of data quality end‑to‑end and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity for stakeholders across the acquisition organization.
- Conduct marketing campaign evaluations with a focus on retrospective learning, identifying what worked, what didn’t, and why — and translating this into clear, actionable insights.
- Own the Investment Optimization process for Nordic Consumer Acquisition, including end‑to‑end analytical preparation, data validation, and insight generation to support investment decisions based on Net Present Value (NPV) and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Support annual planning exercises, including analytical input and materials used in senior‑leader discussions and presentations.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc analytical deep dives that help answer specific business questions as they arise.
- Work within existing analytical frameworks, data structures, and processes, maintaining a high standard of quality and reliability, and taking pride in delivering analysis that stands up to scrutiny.
- Collaborate with colleagues across acquisition, marketing, and analytics to ensure insights are well understood and effectively used.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in economics, finance, business administration, engineering, or similar field of study
- Experience with data analysis tools and languages (E.g. SQL, Excel, Tableau, Generative AI tools)
- A structured and curious mindset — you enjoy solving complex problems, asking thoughtful questions, and learning how things work.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of delivering high‑quality analytical work in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience from internships, student roles, or early‑career positions in analytics, finance, marketing or a similar environment.
- Familiarity with working in large or international organizations.
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Sweden is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
- Competitive base salaries
- Bonus incentives
- Support for financial-well-being and retirement
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits (depending on location)
- Flexible working model with hybrid, onsite or virtual arrangements depending on role and business need
- Generous paid parental leave policies (depending on your location)
- Free access to global on-site wellness centers staffed with nurses and doctors (depending on location)
- Free and confidential counseling support through our Healthy Minds program
- Career development and training opportunities
