Role Description & Qualifications

GoWit is looking for a talented and driven Full-Stack Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the end-to-end web applications that power our retail media advertising platform, making a direct impact on our core product.

As a Full-Stack Developer at GoWit, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining end-to-end web applications that support our retail media advertising platform. This includes building user-facing interfaces, designing backend services, and ensuring seamless integration across systems.

You are expected to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform’s performance, reliability, and scalability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing user interfaces using React and TypeScript, with a focus on performance, maintainability, and user experience.
• Designing and implementing robust backend services, primarily using Go (or Python, depending on the project), and adhering to microservices and event-driven architecture principles.
• Working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and in-memory stores like Redis to ensure efficient data access and system responsiveness.
• Collaborating with DevOps engineers to containerize applications using Docker and deploy them within Kubernetes environments.
• Participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, and feature planning meetings as part of a collaborative, remote-first engineering team.
• Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code aligned with GoWit’s internal development standards.
• Supporting the evolution of the platform through ongoing refactoring, performance optimization, and feature enhancements.
• This role requires both frontend and backend development knowledge.
