For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Senior Android Developer

Job details:

• Role: Senior Android Developer

• Full-time

• Hybrid work, 6x times per month in the Krakow office

• Start date: ASAP

• End date: 31/12/2026

Scope:

• Working independently and as part of a team to design, develop, test and implement React Native applications.
• Building on and suggesting best practices
• Mentoring other members in the department where appropriate, providing guidance and knowledge transfer
• Delivering well structured, maintainable and fully tested systems to time and budget
• Following Risk-Based Project Management (RBPM) and GB&GCF
• IT development methodologies, corporate information security and corporate website look and feel guidance to ensure successful project delivery with strict adherence to coding practices and the production of all necessary documentation
• Initiation and implementation of productivity and quality initiatives
• Manage and co-ordinate software releases through to Production

Skills:

• Proven experience in developing native Android applications
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose
• Experience with Android Studio, ADB, and Android Emulator
• Experience building UI based on specifications using native components and design systems
• Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience debugging Android applications
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store and managing certificates
• Good knowledge of Java for mobile development
• Good understanding of mobile security and accessibility best practices
• Experience working with JSON/XML for data processing
• Experience using Git and IDEs such as IntelliJ and VS Code
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Familiarity with iOS ecosystem (Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode) and cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter
• Strong communication skills, ownership of work, and ability to manage deadlines in an agile team environment
