Weโre supporting on a build of a specialist Management Information System (MIS) in the Education space and are looking for a Senior Back End/Data Engineer to join the team.
The role will focus on building the data pipelines, backend APIs and core data infrastructure in a modern Azure environment.
๐ The Role
โข Building ETL / ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data
โข Designing and optimising SQL schemas and queries
โข Developing REST APIs using Python (FastAPI)
โข Monitoring and debugging data pipelines and platform performance
โข Ensuring secure handling of sensitive data (GDPR / PII)
๐ฏ Weโre looking for someone with
๐ Strong Python engineering experience
๐ Excellent SQL and data modelling skills
๐ Experience building data pipelines / ETL workflows
๐ Experience working in Azure environments
๐ Experience building REST APIs
Nice to have:
Exposure to React / TypeScript
Experience working in regulated environments
