About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Web Designer who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact within a collaborative digital team at Canadian Tire Corporate. In this role, you’ll design staff-facing web interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly. Your work will directly influence how teams interact with our digital products, making everyday tasks smoother and more efficient.
As part of a creative, cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and senior designers to bring innovative digital solutions to life. This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their UX career who enjoys hands-on design, values consistency and quality, and wants to grow into greater design ownership over time.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web applications.
- You’ll develop visually appealing graphics, icons, and other UX/UI assets.
- You’ll collaborate with senior designers and developers to improve user experiences and ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- You’ll iterate on UX and UI designs for new product features and provide constructive feedback during design critiques.
- You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and stay up-to-date with design trends and tools.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in UX, UI, web design, or related roles.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve.
- A degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field is an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $60,000 and $78,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements
