Focus Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead clinical IT initiatives—primarily supporting the provincial electronic Patient Care Report (ePCR) system.

This project will enable ambulances to digitally register patients and eliminate paper-based reporting across the province, improving healthcare efficiency and data accessibility.

• Location: Remote within Canada (occasional travel to Saskatchewan required)

• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

• Contract Term: Apr 1, 2026 – Mar 31, 2028

• Extensions: Up to two (2) additional 12-month renewal options

Role Overview

The Project Manager will lead the implementation and delivery of the provincial ePCR system, ensuring effective planning, governance, and stakeholder alignment. The role requires strong leadership across cross-functional teams, oversight of project execution, and coordination with healthcare partners, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, coordination, and governance of the project

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and project deliverables

• Develop project dashboards and reporting analytics to track progress

• Oversee application validation, testing, and compatibility solutions

• Manage procurement processes and financial tracking

• Lead issue escalation, risk management, and decision tracking

• Coordinate project communications with partners, stakeholders, and users

• Manage organizational change management activities

• Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams

• Monitor and report project performance to leadership and stakeholders

• Ensure alignment across project teams through effective communication

• Support requirements gathering, solution design, and future-state development

Mandatory Qualifications

✔ Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or equivalent

✔ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

✔ Minimum 5 years of project management experience

✔ Minimum 2 years managing large-scale IT software or infrastructure projects

✔ Minimum 2 years experience in organizational change management

✔ Demonstrated experience with ESO Medusa Medical Technologies software

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare or research environments

• Experience in data analytics or IT environments

• Knowledge of the Saskatchewan Emergency Medical Services (EMS) ecosystem

• Strong experience with project planning, estimating, and WBS development

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
