Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (Crédit Agricole CIB) is the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole Group, world’s 10th largest bank by total assets.

Our Singapore center is the 2nd largest IT setup (after Paris Head Office) for Crédit Agricole CIB's worldwide business. We work daily with international branches located in 30 markets by:

• Envisioning and preparing the Bank’s futures information systems
• Partnering and supporting core banking flagships and transverse areas in their large scale development projects
• Providing premium In-house Banking applications

The Team

The department of Corporate and Support Functions IT (CSI) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk and finance applications, used by end users worldwide. Our Risks IT (RIT) section handles applications responsible for risk data collection, risk calculation and monitoring for CA-CIB worldwide.

Responsibilities

Development & Implementation:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based batch/UI applications using Spring and Hibernate framework
• Develop ETL modules to process files from various sources (XML, CSV, position files)
• Build and integrate REST APIs for data exchange between systems
• Implement frontend components using React JS / Javascript
• Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation in SQL Server

DevOps & Automation:

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GITLAB CI
• Develop shell scripts for batch applications
• Configure and manage job workflows in Control-M and Apache Airflow
• Support containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes

Quality & Collaboration:

• Document technical designs, processes, and system configurations
• Write unit tests using JUnit and integration tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Qualifications and Profile

Work Experience

• 2+ years of experience in Java
• Knowledge of the UI framework

Technical Skills Required:

• Backend: Java/J2EE, Spring / Hibernate, Spring-Boot
• Frontend: Javascript, React JS
• Database: SQL Server (Oracle knowledge is a plus)
• Version Control : Git
• Build Tools: Maven
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GITLAB CI
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting
• Experience with file processing (XML, CSV, position files)

Desirable Skills:

• Understanding of REST API development
• Orchestration tools: Control-M, Apache Airflow
• NoSQL: Elastic Search
• Messaging: Kafka
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Python scripting
