PURPOSE/SUMMARY*


As a key member of the global Transformation Delivery, the Project Manager (“PM”) plays a critical role in translating strategic transformation priorities into actionable programs and delivering on assignments he / she has been allocated to. Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation Delivery Office, this position is responsible for orchestrating the structured setup and delivery of global transformation programs or other mission critical initiatives. The role acts as a vital interface between global strategy formulation and effective (regional) execution, working hand-in-hand with the GSET Head, Head of TMO, the Regional heads of the Strategy Management Office and selected Executive Officers depending on assignment.


The Project Manager will be a key part of the Transformation Delivery’s delivery capability, including internal consulting, change and stakeholder management, and project governance. They will ensure that global initiatives are operationalized effectively across business functions and geographies, balancing centralized intent with local execution realities. He will take on problem-solving or analytical tasks to support those global initiatives as the situation demands.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Program Orchestration & Delivery Excellence: Lead the design and implementation of complex, cross-functional transformation programs across the enterprise, ensuring alignment to the company’s strategy and operating model.
  • Project Governance & Execution Frameworks: Develop and maintain standardized governance structures, implementation toolkits, and quality assurance protocols for strategic programs.
  • Transformation Office Capability Building: Supports the development of his fellow practitioners; shape delivery standards, methodologies, and templates across the function, while fostering knowledge preservation
  • Stakeholder & Change Management: Build trust-based relationships with Executive Officers, Global Functional Heads (GFDHs), and regional strategic management office teams. Craft and deploy stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure buy-in and momentum for major initiatives.
  • Regional Engagement & Alignment: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and partner to ensure all critical voices are represented in program design and global direction is adopted with fidelity.
  • Strategic Communication & Reporting: Prepare executive-level materials and ensure senior audiences are well-informed about program status, issues, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Delivery Performance & Value Realization: Define and track KPIs to measure program success and effectiveness. Support value realization through benefits tracking and continuous improvement.
  • External Vendor & Partner Management: Engage and manage external consulting support where appropriate, ensuring delivery quality and alignment with internal methodologies.
  • Culture & Leadership: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the transformation ecosystem. Serve as a coach and mentor to program managers and project leads.


KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE


Education*:

  • Master’s degree preferred (e.g., in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field)
  • Bachelor’s degree required


Experience*:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic transformation, consulting, or internal project delivery functions
  • Ideally several years in leadership roles, preferably in matrixed, multinational environments
  • Experience managing transformation initiatives in global MedTech or similarly complex industries is preferred
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders at corporate and regional levels
  • Prior experience of a Tier-1 consultancy company is a plus
  • Strong background in project portfolio governance, PMO structures, and change management frameworks


Skills:

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills—adept at engaging senior leadership and executive boards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; can handle ambiguity and complexity
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies especially MS Office and analytical tools like alteryx or tableau


Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.)*:

  • Must be able to travel internationally as needed to perform the tasks and responsibilities of role.
