We are partnering with a consulting firm supporting a large US-based asset management client on a platform transformation initiative within their private assets technology environment. The team in Singapore is expanding and looking to hire a Functional Project Manager to support delivery of system initiatives across their private markets investment platform landscape.
This role sits at the intersection of business operations, data and technology, supporting platform initiatives across private equity and private assets systems. The position will focus on coordinating software migration efforts, supporting data integration workstreams, and ensuring that platform enhancements align with the operational workflows of investment and fund operations teams.
The role is functional rather than technical, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery of system changes across the investment platform ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of software migration and platform enhancement initiatives within a private assets investment environment
- Coordinate data integration and system transformation initiatives across multiple investment systems
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for technology teams
- Work closely with investment operations, data and technology stakeholders to ensure platform initiatives align with business workflows
- Support testing cycles including UAT coordination and implementation readiness
- Contribute to delivery governance including project tracking, risk management and stakeholder updates
Requirements
- Around 8+ years of experience delivering technology or transformation initiatives within financial services
- Experience working within asset management, fund services, investment platforms or private markets environments
- Strong background in functional project management, delivery management or business analysis
- Exposure to system migrations, platform implementations or data integration projects
- Ability to work across business and technology stakeholders within complex delivery environments
- Experience within private equity / private assets technology environments is required
- Exposure to eFront or similar private markets investment platforms would be advantageous
