About the Position

As an Entry-Level Developer, you will work closely with our development, SEO, paid media, and account services teams to build and maintain internal and client-facing web applications. You will contribute to backend and frontend development projects using our core tech stack: Python, Flask, Jinja, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript.

This role requires structured, accountable work during set business hours. We have high expectations for productivity and output, and we leverage AI tools as a core part of our development workflow. Candidates who are curious problem-solvers, skilled at using AI to accelerate their coding output, and committed to delivering clean, impactful solutions are strongly encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities

·       Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Python and Flask

·       Build and update server-rendered templates using Jinja

·       Write and optimize database queries in PostgreSQL

·       Contribute to frontend functionality using JavaScript

·       Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to increase development speed and

output quality

·       Write AI-assisted code responsibly — reviewing, testing, and taking full ownership of all generated

output

·       Meet structured daily and hourly productivity expectations with accurate time tracking and task

logging

·       Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues across the application stack

·       Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and enhancements

·       Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality

·       Help maintain integrations with third-party APIs (e.g., Google services, marketing platforms)

·       Support technical SEO and marketing-related feature development

·       Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

·       Stay current with AI tools, coding best practices, and emerging development workflows


Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical

experience)

·       0–2 years of professional development experience (internships and personal projects encouraged)

·       Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to write, debug,

and accelerate code

·       Experience with or strong interest in: Python, Flask, Jinja templating, PostgreSQL or relational

databases, JavaScript

·       Understanding of basic web concepts (HTTP, REST APIs, routing, templating)

·       Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

·       Basic knowledge of SQL and database design principles

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to work structured, accountable hours during set business times in a fully remote environment

·       Comfort with hour-by-hour task tracking and transparent productivity reporting

·       Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Proactive, positive, and self-starter attitude


Preferred (But Not Required)

·       Familiarity with HTML/CSS and responsive design

·       Exposure to marketing technology, SEO-related tools, or automotive knowledge

·       Experience debugging production issues

·       Experience building custom prompts or workflows with AI tools to automate repetitive dev tasks
