Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support our data and reporting initiatives. This role will focus on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help the business make informed decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, highly organized, and comfortable working with data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their analytics career who is looking to develop strong data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders
  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated reporting processes
  • Support senior analysts and business teams with data requests and ad-hoc analysis
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and business objectives
  • Document processes, methodologies, and data definitions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics (internships welcome)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Basic understanding of data cleaning and data preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Understanding of business intelligence and reporting frameworks
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts
