At Kopius we are looking for a Sr Mobile Developer to join our team! The project is within the Digital Agriculture industry and is based in San Francisco, CA. The team develops a platform that examines weather, soil and field data to help farmers determine potential yield-limiting factors in their fields.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a diverse team of Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to craft an experience that will impact the face of farming
• Work with an open, inclusive team of front-end and full stack engineers who are committed to continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews to share knowledge, help each other learn new things and take pride in making our code better.
• Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, snapshot, UI) to improve quality.
• Ability to follow the technical design.
• Basic Qualifications:Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.
• Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Embraces new ideas to enhance problem-solving processes.

Requirements:

• 6–10 years of experience in Mobile development.
• Experience with Kotlin development, with recent focus on Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience building Android applications with modern frameworks.
• Experience with iOS development.
• Strong experience with Git or other distributed version control systems.
• Ability to manage and refactor complex, shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebases.
• Familiarity with GraphQL for API integration (backends using GraphQL instead of REST).
• Experience with DevOps tools, specifically Azure DevOps for pipeline management.
• Hands-on experience with Artifactory or similar binary repository managers for dependency management.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React Native (as secondary skill or prior exposure).
• Experience working with Product and Design to ship ground-breaking features.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and modern Android testing frameworks.
