Software Engineer – Full Stack

About the Role

We are looking for early-career Software Engineers with a strong interest in developing applications on Linux and cloud platforms to join our engineering team in the broadcast and video technology space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new features within a high-performance video processing platform
• Contribute to software development through coding, unit testing, and peer reviews
• Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Demonstrate new features and functionality to internal stakeholders
• Support final feature testing and release preparation
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes
• Develop using technologies such as C/C++, Python, Bash, and Ansible
• Work within Linux-based environments and containerised systems (Docker, Kubernetes)

Skills & Experience

• Understanding of core software development principles and design patterns
• Experience with one or more programming languages (C/C++, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux development environments
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team environment
