About the Role
We are looking for early-career Software Engineers with a strong interest in developing applications on Linux and cloud platforms to join our engineering team in the broadcast and video technology space.
This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge platforms, contribute to innovative solutions, and play a key role in delivering high-quality software to global customers
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new features within a high-performance video processing platform
- Contribute to software development through coding, unit testing, and peer reviews
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Demonstrate new features and functionality to internal stakeholders
- Support final feature testing and release preparation
- Automate build, testing, and deployment processes
- Develop using technologies such as C/C++, Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Work within Linux-based environments and containerised systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
Skills & Experience
- Understanding of core software development principles and design patterns
- Experience with one or more programming languages (C/C++, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux development environments
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team environment
