Job Description

We are looking for a Managing Director for Italy to lead and develop our Italian operations. This is a senior executive role, with full responsibility of the P&L, organizational structure and operational excellence of the Italian entity.

The Italian organization is split between Terni and Milan, with approximately 80 employees. The Managing Director Italy will play a key role in preparing and executing the Group’s strategic plan FeelAyming 2029, in close collaboration with Group stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • General management & leadership
  • Lead the entire Italian organization, ensuring strong performance across all functions: operations, sales, delivery and support functions.
  • Recruit, structure and manage a strong leadership team.
  • Foster leadership, accountability and ownership at all levels of the organization.
  • Work closely with Group corporate functions (Finance, HR, Strategy, IT, Marketing).
  • Actively contribute to M&A projects, including integration phases.
  • Business development & performance management
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Italian market and position Ayming’s offerings effectively.
  • Drive sustainable growth and increase market share.
  • Build, together with the Sales Director, a high-performing and ambitious sales team.
  • Ensure alignment between operations, sales and delivery, coordinating multiple business lines and sites.
  • Financial leadership & governance
  • Own and manage the P&L, in line with the Business Plan 2029.
  • Build the annual budget and take full accountability for its execution and success.
  • Ensure profitability, financial discipline and cost control.
  • Implement clear KPIs and performance monitoring tools.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading complex professional services organizations, ideally in multinational, multi-BU environments, including exposure to post M&A.
  • Strong track record of P&L ownership and management of significant business volumes.
  • Ability to structure, coach and lead teams across multiple business lines and locations.
  • Comfortable operating in a client-centric, high-expertise consulting environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Italian is required.
