Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Engineer based in Riga. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and programming software systems, focusing on back-end web development and object-oriented programming. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the scalability and functionality of software, and maintaining high coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Contributions to innovative projects at the intersection of computer science, social sciences, and healthcare are expected.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development principles, GIT knowledge
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming
- Experience and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - preferred
- Familiarity with modern software development tools and methodologies is an advantage - Claude Code, other AI tools
- Oracle, Apex, PL/SQL knowledge as advantage.
