As a Security Consultant, you are providing security coaching and consulting services to teams within the Swisscom IT organization. You will work directly with application teams to assess and define security measures with a focus on risk reduction and automation in a cloud native world. 

You will have a diverse set of tasks in the security space including driving threat modeling sessions, conducting security architecture reviews, integrating security tooling, and optimizing security processes, such as risk management. In the area of cloud, we work within our organization to develop and evaluate the right cloud-native security solutions.

  • Salary from 1800 to 3800 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements


  • Audit and Pentest experience
  • Knowledge of security testing approaches (SAST, DAST) and tooling (e.g. Snyk)
  • Knowledge of and ability to review application security architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud native security approaches (k8 & containers) including hardening and monitoring (e.g Open Policy Agent, Cloud Security Posture Management)
  • CISSP, CCSP or other high quality security certifications will be considered as an advantage
  • Bachelors or master’s in computer science, MIS, or Information Management
  • Very good English
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and committed personality with reliability, who maintains an overview even in a complex environment
  • Highest personal and professional integrity and strong work ethics
  • Results orientation, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to manage adversity and challenging situations
