At Deeper, we are leading growth and winning through innovation in the fishing and broader sonar market. We are the best in the world at creating app-enabled sonar technology.
Today our sonars are available in more than 90 countries with our app community connecting more than 2 million smart anglers across the globe. Behind all of this, we have a team of 65 specialists. We are proud to have gathered a unique bunch of people different in their backgrounds, experiences, some very creative, some very meticulous but all united in the belief that only together can we create the next big thing to elevate fishing experiences. Our Fish Deeper app empowers millions of anglers to map, explore, and master their waters.
In this role, you will lead growth initiatives that help millions of anglers discover, engage with, and subscribe to Fish Deeper — shaping how anglers connect with our platform and unlocking new ways to deliver value. You’ll collaborate closely with Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Data to design and scale features that drive meaningful growth and deepen the bond anglers have with our brand.
We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for problem-solving, and a data-driven mindset to help take Fish Deeper to the next level.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Lead and oversee the 360° product process - from concept and user research to development, launch, and continuous improvement - ensuring consistency in vision, quality, and user experience across all growth initiatives.
- Manage a small team, including a Product Designer and potentially a Data Engineer, and work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Design and execute experiments, A/B tests, and features that drive customer acquisition, upsell, and retention.
- Analyze customer behavior and market trends (quantitative + qualitative) to identify opportunities, spot risks, and refine strategies.
- Incorporate data, customer feedback, and best practices into product direction, ensuring decisions are insight-driven and user-centered.
- Manage the growth budget, track ROI, and report on key metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, conversion rates) to leadership.
- Monitor competitor actions and industry trends to inform product and growth strategies.
Competence we are looking for:
- Proven experience in product management with a growth focus, ideally in subscription-based apps or consumer digital products.
- Strong track record of driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth through data-driven strategies.
- Experience leading the full 360° product lifecycle, ensuring a seamless, consistent, and high-impact product experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience in A/B testing, experimentation, and continuous product optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to align teams and influence stakeholders.
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for improving user experience.
