We are seeking a Data Protection & Compliance Specialist to join Carlsberg Group Baltic companies and lead GDPR and personal data protection processes across the Baltic markets.

You will ensure full compliance with GDPR, local legislation, and Carlsberg Group policies, act as the main point of contact for data protection matters and embed strong data protection practices into daily operations.

This position plays a key role in strengthening accountability, transparency, and security in how personal data is managed across the organization.


What you will do?

  • Drive the implementation of GDPR and data protection requirements, ensuring alignment with local legislation and Carlsberg Group policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in the Group Data Protection Responsible Network and work closely with the Regional Data Protection Expert on the implementation of Baltic data protection activities.
  • Advise business teams on compliant and practical personal data handling across systems and tools, including data collection, use, storage, and transfer.
  • Conduct and maintain ROPA, vendor privacy & security assessments and monitor changes in data protection risk levels.
  • Lead the management of personal data breaches and coordinate response actions.
  • Develop and maintain local data protection policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with regulatory and Group requirements.
  • Deliver GDPR and data protection training programs, drive awareness initiatives, and ensure employees understand their responsibilities.
  • Monitor EU regulatory developments related to environmental and manufacturer compliance and support their implementation across the Baltic companies.


What we expect?

  • Higher education degree in Law or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in GDPR and data protection, including project and stakeholder coordination.
  • Good understanding of how businesses work and the ability to apply data protection rules in practical situations.
  • Ability to work independently and be a trusted point of contact for data protection topics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and work in an international environment within Carlsberg Group.
  • Certifications in privacy (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) and experience working with privacy management software (OneTrust) are considered a plus.

Salary: 2900-3500 €/mon. gross.
