Test Engineer

We are looking for a Test Engineer (AML / KYC / Compliance) to join one of our clients for a strategic European banking & compliance project in Luxembourg.

You will be part of a collaborative Compliance & Financial Crime Squad, contributing to the implementation, migration, and validation of AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance solutions in the context of a broader Core Banking and Regulatory Transformation program.

🤖 Responsabilities and Requirements:

• Develop comprehensive test cases based on business requirements, regulatory rules, and technical specifications to ensure full coverage of AML/KYC and compliance functionalities.
• Execute Pre-UAT functional testing, identify, log, and escalate defects related to compliance rules, risk scoring, data quality, reporting, or system integrations.
• Re-test fixes and enhancements to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and European financial regulations (AML, KYC, GDPR, PSD2, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, compliance officers, and AML experts within an Agile / Squad-based setup.
• Support the migration and continuity of services from existing compliance solutions to new platforms, ensuring data integrity and regulatory conformity.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, execution results, defect tracking, and validation reports to ensure transparency and audit readiness.

🛠️ Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience in Functional Testing, QA, or Test Engineering in banking / financial services environments.
• Strong experience with AML, KYC, Financial Crime, or Compliance systems.
• Familiarity with Pre-UAT, UAT, and regulatory validation processes.
• Knowledge of transaction monitoring, screening tools, or regulatory reporting systems is a strong plus.
• Experience working in Core Banking / Compliance / Risk / Regulatory projects.
• Strong knowledge of test design, defect management, and retesting practices.
• Experience working in Agile / Squad-based teams.
