A forward‑thinking technology organisation specialising in data‑driven solutions is seeking a Python Data & Machine Learning Engineer with strong/fluent Dutch to support the design and implementation of advanced data pipelines and machine learning systems. Responsibilities

Design & Build Data Pipelines

• Develop, optimise, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and associated libraries.
• Work with large-scale datasets across structured and unstructured environments.

Machine Learning Engineering

• Design, build, and deploy ML models—ranging from classical models to deep learning—in production environments.
• Implement simulations, optimisation algorithms, and performance‑tuning techniques.

Software & Solution Development

• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best engineering practices.
• Conduct software testing to ensure reliability and quality across ML and data workflows.

Data Infrastructure & Tooling

• Utilise tools such as Airflow, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes to support scalable data and machine learning operations.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to support analytical workloads.

Cloud & DevOps Integration

• Leverage cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) to build and deploy scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and follow Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and independently design, test, and deliver solutions that meet requirements.
• Share knowledge within the team, contribute to technical discussions, and support a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python in data‑driven environments.
• Strong proficiency with Python libraries such as Pandas, scikit‑learn, PySpark, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Experience building end‑to‑end machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data engineering tools such as Airflow and Kafka.
• Software testing experience.
