We are seeking an AI Engineer to help expand and evolve the AI capabilities of a fast growing Netherlands based AI startup.

This is a hands on role in a fast moving startup environment, where ideas are quickly tested, built, and shipped. You will work closely with the leadership and product team to translate customer needs into production ready AI functionality.

Your Responsibilities

• Integrate modern LLMs and multimodal AI models into customer-facing products.
• Design and implement Python-based services and libraries that interact with AI models and data sources.
• Build, maintain, and improve MLOps pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Develop and test reusable Python packages that support AI workflows and product features.
• Maintain and evolve the Azure-based infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and model deployment workflows.
• Track new developments in AI and identify where they can create real product value.

Required Background

• Hands on experience in LLMs and RAG.
• Hands on experience working with machine learning or natural language processing systems.
• Hands on professional experience in Python (Production level)
• Experience building, testing, and maintaining software that interacts with AI models.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
• Dutch or German speaking.
