We are looking for a Frontend Developer with strong expertise in modern UI frameworks (Solid preferred, Svelte, Qwik, or Vue). The role emphasises UI/UX craftsmanship: building intuitive, performant, and accessible interfaces for a large-scale platform used by millions of users.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our central Bucharest office (Calea Victoriei).

Responsibilities

Frontend

• Build and maintain high-performance frontend interfaces for a large-scale web platform
• Own frontend architecture, component systems, and rendering behavior
• Translate product and UX ideas into clear, efficient user interfaces
• Ensure strong performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks and UI/UX issues
• Build and maintain reusable component systems and frontend patterns
• Maintain a high standard of code quality, structure, and documentation
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow
• Continuously improve frontend performance, bundle size, and rendering efficiency

Cross-functional

Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship reliable user-facing features

Take ownership of UI implementation and frontend technical decisions

Use AI tools extensively to accelerate development, debugging, and iteration

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications
• Strong experience with one of the following frontend frameworks, in order of preference:

-Solid (ideal)

-Svelte

-Qwik

-Vue

• Very good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, rendering, and browser behavior
• Experience building and maintaining component-based frontend architectures
• Experience integrating APIs into frontend applications
• Comfortable making heavy use of AI tools for coding and problem-solving (required)
• Ability to take technical ownership of frontend systems
• Senior-level mindset: pragmatic, responsible, and impact-focused

Nice to Have

• Experience working on high-traffic platforms (millions of users)
• Experience working with large-scale content platforms or data-heavy systems
• Strong interest in UI/UX quality and frontend performance
• Experience contributing to product or UX decisions
