Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers regarding transmission network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems related to transmission equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Diagnose and address customer concerns related to transmission devices.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions.
• Plan, develop and perform network upgrades and updates.
• Engage in proactive analysis to prevent potential risks, ensuring network safety.
• Be able to participate in an on-call shift to handle urgent issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transmission engineering or related technical support roles.
• In-depth knowledge of transmission technologies including DWDM, Microwave (RTN) and Legacy PTN.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage several tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for network troubleshooting.
• Languages: English and Spanish fluent; be comfortable speaking in English with non-native people.
