You'll work closely with our customers, designers, and product development team to build intuitive web applications that are used daily by the world's largest banks, consultancies, and private equity firms.

Grasp is an agentic AI platform for finance. The $1.4 trillion financial advisory industry relies heavily on costly and scarce cognitive labor. The industry is so inefficient that advisory firms can charge millions of dollars for teams of junior employees, whose work is 90% manual and repetitive. As part of our core technical team, you will be working on the absolute frontier of AI, building an LLM-based product with very strong customer traction.

Role

As a Software Engineer - Web at Grasp, you will work closely with our customers, designers, and the rest of the product development team to create intuitive, high-performance web applications. While your focus will be on web development, you should be comfortable working across the stack when necessary.

The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. We use an in-person work model and offer relocation assistance to new employees. We offer unlimited Claude Code/Codex/Cursor spend and expect you to use this to the fullest extent.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining scalable, high-quality web components and features.
• Collaborating closely with design and product teams to create exceptional user experiences.
• Ensuring robust performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and the overall technology roadmap.
• Supporting backend tasks as needed to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Skills and requirements

For this role you should:

• Have a proven track record of building high-quality web applications.
• Be proficient in modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Have strong general software engineering skills, including system design, databases, and performance optimization.
• Be comfortable with backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar) when required.
• Being familiar with cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience with Next.js is a plus.
