We’re hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale a modern e‑commerce platform used by well-known retail brands across Europe and the US. You’ll work end to end across backend services and web interfaces, shipping features that power high-traffic collections, search, and recommendations.
You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering, turning real customer needs into reliable, fast, and cleanly designed software. This is a hands-on role with ownership, impact, and a tight feedback loop.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance full‑stack features using Python/FastAPI and TypeScript/React
- Design and maintain backend services and APIs with a focus on performance, reliability, and clear contracts
- Integrate with major e‑commerce platforms and third‑party APIs, including high‑volume sync and webhook handling
- Develop data pipelines that reconcile and normalize data from multiple external sources
- Work with engineers focused on ranking, search, and merchandising logic to deliver smooth user experiences
- Contribute to scalability and operational excellence on GCP/Kubernetes, using Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Participate in the on‑call rotation and raise the bar on testing, observability, and deployment practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong full‑stack fundamentals with Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript/React
- Experience building production systems with PostgreSQL and API‑driven data pipelines
- Hands‑on experience running services on GCP and Kubernetes; familiarity with Terraform
- Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts: API design, async processing, queues/workers, caching, failure modes
- Product‑first mindset with attention to latency, relevance, and reliability
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment: proactive, hands‑on, and pragmatic
Nice to Have
- Experience with search, ranking, or recommendation features
- Familiarity with analytical data stores (e.g., ClickHouse)
- Background integrating commerce platforms and handling catalog/order/inventory data models
- Strong observability practices (metrics, tracing, structured logging) and experimentation frameworks
